It is creative, full of life, and has a heritage that is worth exploring. This makes it the ideal place to gain a degree that will prepare you for a successful future.

Getting around

Liverpool is convenient and compact, which makes it easy to get around both on foot and by public transport. It is also very well connected to the rest of the UK and Europe via its international airport and extensive rail and road links.

The city has frequent, inexpensive buses. This makes it easy to travel around the city and to local towns. You can travel to Manchester by bus in only one hour and five minutes. Liverpool also has an underground rail service and many taxis.

By living in Liverpool, you aren't far away from an international airport. John Lennon airport has frequent flights to continental Europe, so you can take a weekend trip to famous cities such as Paris, Rome or Madrid.
