Flexible study options for starting in, or after September 2021
Study your pathway programme from home and keep your education on track*. If you are unable to travel to Liverpool, you can study virtually from the comfort of your home and join us on campus at a later date**. Studying online you'll benefit from virtual teacher-led learning with our experienced staff and a wide range of learning and social activities.
If you are starting your course before September 2021, you are able to study your whole programme via virtual, teacher-led learning in a vibrant online international community.†

We want to make sure you are confident on your pathway to academic success. That’s why when you start one of our virtual programmes, you will have a 21-day introductory period to experience learning online.
If, within the 21-day introductory period you choose not to continue your studies virtually, you have two options available:
- Defer your place to a future intake
- Withdraw your place at no extra cost

What happens next?
If you have decided virtual learning is for you, you can apply using our online form. Your Student Enrolment Advisor will then contact you and support you every step of the way. Already have an offer? Accept your offer and confirm that you would like to start your programme virtually from home.
No matter where you are in the world, you’re still an International Study Centre student – and we’re here to help you. We’ll support you throughout your studies, and once you travel to the UK, support you in transitioning to campus life.
*Please note that this information is subject to approval by the University. Government guidance to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is regularly changing and therefore we will continue to review and adapt the measures that we’re putting in place to safeguard our staff and students. Students should continue to check government health and travel advice regularly before making any plans to travel. We will continue to communicate with you in the event of any changes.

†We hope you will be able to travel to the UK and study with us on campus. If, however, you are unable to travel for the whole of your pathway programme you can complete your studies from home. The University will recognise virtual-only study and assessment for progression to the 2021/22 academic year due to the exceptional circumstances related to COVID-19.
